There are a number of ways to support the F4S Programme:
Support F4S activities
Every team needs help with management and administration. This is a great way to support the F4S Programme at your school – providing assistance to the coach-educator, helping any learners who may be facing difficulties, organising the equipment, and recording the number of learners who attend each session. You can also use the F4S app to record a session every time it is delivered.
Deliver F4S activities
F4S activities are intended to be delivered by trained coach-educators. However, if coach-educators are unavailable, parents may need to step in. Furthermore, while activities are designed to be delivered in schools, parents are able to offer such activities in their community and/or club structure, although this should not be to the detriment of any schools.
In the F4S app, you can select from a range of quality sessions – especially designed to be implemented with learners aged 4-7, 8-11 and 12-14. The app contains user-friendly videos and instructions in a number of languages and has been developed by football experts, making it easier than ever for you to be a great coach and mentor.
Each session is accompanied by a relevant life skill to ensure that playing is combined with learning. The app must initially be accessed online, but sessions can be downloaded for offline use. It is free of charge and accessible to anyone – so you can share it with your fellow parents.
